Stephen Warren Solomon, co-founder and Managing Partner of SSJ Law, is recognized by his industry peers as a leader in his practice areas. Stephen has represented clients in all aspects of gaming, gambling and entertainment licensing, regional and national clients in sports arbitrations, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) and Liquor license & compliance issues, liability and employment issues, and personal injury cases resulting in large verdicts and settlements. A seasoned litigator, Stephen is licensed to represent clients throughout California and Massachusetts and has appeared in all levels of the court as well as arbitrations, mediations, and administrative matters.
Stephen has represented private and public corporations, small businesses, high profile clients and everyday people, bringing his personal zeal to the courtroom and the media. Stephen also serves as a Judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Superior Courts, has sponsored and lectured at numerous legal events, and is a member of the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals. He is the author of numerous articles, op-ed pieces on the state of the law as well as scholarly articles regarding case holdings.
Stephen has represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Federal Claims Court. He is a member of the Intertribal Court of Southern California.
Stephen has accumulated a myriad of awards for his legal work including the rating of AV Preeminent® from Martindale-Hubbell for the highest achievement in legal ability and ethics. He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, was voted by his peers as a SuperLawyer® consecutively for the last 15 years and is rated 10/10 on AVVO.
Stephen is the co-creator, co-host and Co-Executive Producer of the Emmy® award-winning television show Cheap Eats. He also co-hosted and was the Co-Executive Producer of Legal Help Live, a call-in legal show for radio and television.
In his spare time, Stephen is an accomplished fisherman who enjoys competing and often winning awards in the annual Fish Derby.
